# RESEARCH

To understand the impact of climate on the broader ecosystem, ClimeCheck DAO will fund and promote research in different areas:

* [Air Quality](https://www.epa.gov/air-research/air-quality-and-climate-change-research)
* [Ecosystems](https://www.epa.gov/climate-research/ecosystems-and-climate-change-research)
* [Energy Production](https://www.epa.gov/climate-research/energy-and-climate-change-research)
* [Human Health](https://www.epa.gov/climate-research/human-health-and-climate-change-research)
* [Wildland Fires](https://www.epa.gov/air-research/wildland-fire-research-protect-health-and-environment)

The research grant will focus on reproducible research

The community will be providing retroactive funding for reproducible research. An elected council will decide on research funding through proposal reviews.

Community members that actively participated in the research process will earn IP-NFT from the output of that research.
